Aloha AC!

My name is Eric Sun and I am delighted to run as Treasurer! I am a sophomore studying Accounting and MIS, eventually working towards a Master’s in Accounting. I am grateful for all the opportunities and friendships I have made from being in AC for two semesters. My time in AC allowed me to have a swifter transition into college and learn more about the accounting world. I look forward to meeting more people and creating lifelong friendships and memories!

I work in a small local tax accounting firm, which has helped me gain experience handling financial data. I believe this experience will assist me in my tasks as Treasurer if I am fortunate to have this position. Through my work, AC, and BAP, I improved my social and professional skills which will be handy as an EB for AC. I strive to help people in any way and become an invaluable asset to everyone. I have also held leadership positions in the past in sports and extracurricular activities. These opportunities have given me insight and growth to prepare for the tasks I am committing myself to. I understand the work will be difficult, but I will do my best to serve the members of AC and give back everything this club has given me.

If elected as Treasurer, I will fulfill my duties and responsibilities, devoting my time and effort to learning and completing my tasks to the best of my ability. I am so grateful for everything AC has offered me, nothing would have been possible without the wonderful EBs and members. I hope to give members the same experience I had in AC and truly make AC a safe environment for long-lasting relationships. I want all our members to grow and become successful, helping the club grow as a whole. I look forward to meeting everyone and making the experience in AC unforgettable!
