Director of Public Relations Candidates

Curran Hirata

I’m Curran, a junior majoring in accounting. I was born and raised on Oahu and am currently in both the Accounting Club and BAP. I enjoy doing puzzles, watching YouTube videos and collecting CDs. I originally joined the Accounting Club because I didn’t know what I wanted to do for my major. However, through the club, I have built friendships, connected with students and professionals, and gained a goal for my future.

Through BAP, I have had the opportunity to serve as Co-Chair of Community Service. This has allowed me the experience of working with local charities and organizations. I have been able to improve my communication and teamwork skills by working alongside BAP’s board members. It has also required me to improve my time management skills through having to plan community service events ahead of the semester.

I would love the opportunity to be the Accounting Club’s Director of Public Relations! I’m excited to have this opportunity. I hope to inspire people in the club to build a relationship with their fellow club members as well as the community around them.

My name is Juliet McKay, and I am excited to announce that I am running for director of public relations for fall 2026.

After watching AC executive board members work so hard, I decided that I would love to be part of the process. Being part of AC has helped me learn and expand in so many different ways – professionally, socially, and personally. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities, friendships, and confidence this club has given me.
