What’s up AC, it’s Jamba or Jayden! 

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be running to be your Director of Public Relations for Spring 2026! 

Being active in AC for the past few semesters has been one of my best and memorable experiences in college. AC has been more than just a club for me; I’ve made many new friends and amazing memories, but AC has also pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and become more outgoing, developing personally and professionally throughout my time in the club. 

I’m running for Director of PR because I want to give back to the first club I joined that helped me become who I am today, and inspire others to step outside their comfort zone and try new experiences as well. Although I haven’t been as active this semester due to serving as Beta Alpha Psi’s Community Service Co-Chair for Fall 2025, I already have experience planning and hosting community service events, emailing organizations, and coordinating with other Shidler clubs for joint events. I enjoyed putting my time and energy into community service events, whether it was helping those in need or giving back to the community, and now I want to bring over my leadership experience from BAP to AC.

Serena Perey Ratonel

Hi AC! My name is Serena and I am excited to share that I will be running to be your Director of Public Relations for the Spring 2026 semester! 

I have chosen to run for an EB position because I love what AC does and represents. I have visited offices of accounting firms that I would have never had access to, gone to a variety of events to serve the community, and met so many amazing people. I love that AC creates such a welcoming atmosphere and I would like to contribute to the ongoing success of the club. 

In high school, I served as an officer for our band. With this experience, I have learned that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be in any leadership position, but seeing the club thrive because of your effort makes it all worth it. With this, I would love to do the same for AC! 

I’d love to be your Director of Public Relations because I find community service events to be highly fulfilling. I love being outside and it feels great to do something tangible to give back to the community. I am very organized, so coordinating these events will not be a problem for me, and most importantly, I have a positive attitude! I am willing to do whatever it takes to uplift the club. I hope we have a great Spring 2026 semester together!
