Hi AC!

My name is Nikki Nagatori and I am running to be your next Vice President! I am currently a senior majoring in Accounting and next semester will be my fourth semester in AC. By being a member in the club, I have had the amazing opportunity to make lasting friendships and memories and am so grateful for the opportunities AC has given me. With this being said, I would love to give back to the club by continuing on board as your next VP!

Currently, I am working as an Audit Intern at KMH LLP, where I assist in audit engagements for companies of various different industries. Through this experience, I have been able to develop stronger communication and teamwork skills. I think these skills will come in handy when it comes to helping the club and fellow board members, in any way I can.

I am also currently serving as AC’s Inter-Business Council Senator, which I believe has provided me with vital experiences I can carry on into the Vice President role. A big aspect of my role I will carry on and hope to further develop is my leadership abilities. Through my term, I have also assisted with the coordination of our Meet the Pros Event, which has enabled me to learn more about planning large scale events. When it comes to Next Best Accountant and A Glimpse into the Future, I feel confident in my abilities to successfully organize such events.

If elected as AC’s next Vice President, I hope to continue supporting the wonderful community we’ve built. Accounting Club has allowed me the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, and I hope to be a part of a board that continues fostering this for our members. Most of all, I hope to give back to the club and its members because AC has become such an important part of my life.
