Frederick Tamayo Jr.

Aloha AC,

I, Frederick Tamayo Jr., will be running to be the next Accounting Club’s Director of Professional Development.  A little background for those who don’t know me. I'm a Junior majoring in Accounting and Finance.  I have been an active member of the Accounting Club for four semesters now.  From my time in AC, it has given me many opportunities to develop myself professionally and personally, as well as create many lasting friendships and amazing memories. So, I feel that it’s finally time for me to give back to the club and serve on the executive board. 

Along with AC, I’m also an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, currently serving as the IBC Senator where I was responsible for organizing this year’s HAPA Students’ Night.  I also have been able to balance taking 18 credits this semester while doing a Tax Internship with Accuity LLP.  I have an extensive background in leadership from my time in JROTC, where I held various roles, including Battalion Command Chief, and led my battalion to earning the Distinguished Unit Award.

In my free time, I enjoy lifting, fishing, catching the sunsets/sunrises, and quality time with family and friends. I also own and operate a DJ/sound system rental business, managing all aspects from marketing and client relations to financial management.
