Eric Hwang
Aloha Accounting Club,
I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of Accounting Club Secretary. I am on track to be an active member of this club for two semesters now, and I am currently serving on the executive board as the Director of Information Systems. The Accounting Club has provided me with valuable connections and opportunities, and I am eager to continue contributing to its success by taking on this leadership role.
In addition to my involvement with the club, I am currently working part-time as an intern while being a full-time student. Balancing work, academics, and extracurricular commitments has strengthened my time management and organizational skills; both of which I believe are essential for the Secretary position.
My previous experiences include serving as Secretary for a high school club and working as a Project Coordinator for Key Club Hawaii. These roles have further developed my ability to manage deadlines, communicate effectively, and stay organized. Additionally, my current role on the executive board has given me firsthand experience in club operations, preparing me to fulfill the responsibilities of Secretary.
If elected, my goal is to help maintain the club’s success while continuing to foster a welcoming and engaging environment for all members. I want to ensure that everyone, from new members to returning students, feels included and has opportunities to connect, learn, and grow both professionally and personally.
As Secretary, I will ensure that executive board meetings are well-documented, assist in promoting IMA membership and scholarships, and help maintain strong relationships with alumni and IMA. I am committed to supporting my fellow board members and serving our club members to the best of my ability. I look forward to the opportunity to continue giving back to the Accounting Club and would greatly appreciate your support.
Mahalo,
Eric

Aloha everyone!
My name is Christian Haluber, and I’m excited to be running for Secretary of the Accounting Club. As a sophomore majoring in accounting, AC has already given me incredible experiences, friendships, and professional growth in just two semesters. I am truly grateful for the opportunities this club has provided me, and I want to give back by serving as your Secretary. AC has played such an important role in my journey, and I would love the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.
This past semester, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your IBC Senator, where I’ve gained valuable experience in leadership and communication. Through internships at FHP and HawaiiUSA FCU, I’ve strengthened my ability to manage responsibilities, work with a team, and stay organized—skills that I know will help me in this role. But more importantly, I want to make a difference in AC, just as it has made a difference in my life. From the moment I joined, I felt the impact of this club, and I want to ensure every member experiences that same sense of belonging and opportunity.
My goal is to help AC continue growing into a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and connected. Whether it’s through professional opportunities or just creating a stronger sense of community, I want to do my part to make AC an even better place for all of us. I’m honored to be running for Secretary and would love the opportunity to serve you all to the best of my ability!
Mahalo,
Christian Haluber
