Aloha everyone!

My name is Christian Haluber, and I’m running to become your next Inter Business Council Senator. I’m currently a sophomore planning to major in accounting, and next semester will be my second semester with AC. Although I’ve only been part of the Accounting Club for one semester, AC has already given me amazing memories, experiences, and most importantly, valuable friendships. I’d love the chance to represent AC as its IBC Senator and give back to the club that has already given me so much.

Even though I’m still new to AC, I believe I’m a strong candidate for this role because of my past experiences and my dedication to the club. I’ve been lucky enough to complete internships with both FHP and HawaiiUSA FCU, where I developed skills like communication and teamwork—qualities I know are essential for an IBC Senator. As the bridge between AC and IBC, being able to communicate effectively is key to making sure our members’ voices are heard and understood. With such an amazing executive board and group of members, I understand how important it would be to carry my part of the load, but also to bring positivity and encouragement. Balancing school and work has taught me valuable time management skills, which I know will help me stay committed and organized in this role.

If elected, I hope to continue the positive relationships Nikki and past senators have built and make sure that all of your opinions are represented—not just the executive board’s, but each of yours as valued members. My goal is to help make Spring 2025 a memorable semester for AC—a time when we feel even more connected as a community. Most of all, I’m running to give back to the club that has already done so much for me, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to support each of you.
