Director of Human Resources Candidates

Jayden Boyd

What’s up AC,

If you don’t know me, my name is Jayden Boyd (the third Jayden of AC), and I am running for your Director of Human Resources.

I joined AC last spring, and it has been the best decision that I have made in my college career. In my first semester, I didn't know or really talk to anyone. However, during my time in AC, I've become more outgoing and talkative. I'm nowhere near the most extroverted person in the world, but that’s why I want to be your Director of Human Resources to force me to get out of my comfort zone.

I don’t want to be the Director of Human Resources just for myself, but also because I want to listen to everyone and give feedback to help better the club for the future. I might not have ever done anything like this before, but I hope that you will give me the chance to learn how to be the best.

Thanks GOATS,

Jayden Boyd

Paul Bagara

Hello AC!!!,

My name is Paul Bagara, and I’m excited to be running for AC’s Director of Human Resources position for Fall 2026.

Accounting as a career or joining the club was not on my bucket list going into college but I said why the heck not? Three semesters later, I thank myself for making this choice as I have had so many enjoyable moments joining the club such as the D&B social and Arc after Darc and have met so many peers I hope to see continuing their accounting journey along with me. Through the club’s professional events, I’ve also gained valuable insights into the accounting field and network with professionals from the different firms who I look to for guidance and have a peek into the career I hope to have after college.

Through my experience as the Director of Finance for the Hawai‘i Student Entrepreneurs for almost a year, I’ve already experienced updating and maintaining a club’s membership tracker while also communicating with members on paying their membership dues. It is not just maintaining a spreadsheet but rather maintaining a relationship with the members and getting to know people. I want to grow with the club and support it with the experiences I have to offer.

I’m running for Human Resources because I want to have a more involved role and do what I can in order for the club to provide more opportunities like it did for me, for returning and new members. It is thanks to the board members and everyone in the club that I felt empowered to get out of my comfort zone and experience everything this club has to offer, like running for board! I hope to have your trust in allowing me to be your Director of Human Resources!

May your debits always equal your credits,

Paul Bagara
