Britney Pham
Hi Everyone!
My name is Britney Pham and I am running to be your Spring 2025 Director of Internal Affairs! I am a junior majoring in Management Information Systems and plan to double major in Accounting starting next semester. This is my second semester in Accounting Club and I am incredibly grateful for all the wonderful friendships and memories I’ve made during my time here. I’m running for a board position because I genuinely value the experiences I’ve had in the club, and want to contribute to creating even more memorable and meaningful moments for both current and future members.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve had the opportunity to hold multiple leadership positions, including roles in Student Council and JROTC, where I developed strong skills in communication, organization, and leading diverse groups of people. In my previous job, I had the role of Party Coordinator in which I was responsible for managing events like buyouts and parties. This involved coordinating with event hosts and vendors, scheduling, and overseeing every detail to ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully. In my current job, I focus on connecting with each customer to help our store not only reach but exceed its sales goals.
These experiences have helped me build valuable connections with a variety of organizations, which I plan to reconnect with and utilize throughout the semester to provide everyone with the best products, helping us all meet–and even exceed–our semester quotas! As a chronic Googler, I’ll always be on the lookout for new opportunities (and tasty food options!) that will work best for the club. I also have wonderful connections with various Shidler clubs, including ITMA, FMA, and BAP, and I plan to reach out to even more clubs to collaborate on future fundraisers. My goal is to expand our fundraising opportunities and build stronger connections with other clubs to foster an even stronger spirit of camaraderie!
As your Director of Internal Affairs, my goal is not only to provide the best opportunities for everyone but also to be a supportive outlet for you guys! I understand that balancing classes, clubs, work, and even just meeting new people can be tough, so I want to be someone you feel comfortable reaching out to–whether it’s to share feedback, offer suggestions, or simply chat about how your day is going! Our club is always evolving, and the future is bright! I promise that I will always give my best to ensure we all have an amazing Spring 2025 semester!
Thank you all,
Britney Pham
Zion Ah-You
Aloha members of Accounting Club
Hello, my name is Zion Ah You and I am currently a Sophomore Accounting major. I have been a member of AC for one semester and I am honored and excited to be running for the position of Director of Internal Affairs. During this short period of time I have had the pleasure of meeting many amazing and unique people who have made this club not only a place to grow professionally, but also a fun and supportive community. It’s through this combination of professionalism and camaraderie that has made me even more passionate about being involved.
While I haven’t held a leadership role in the club yet, I’ve been active in the club making connections with many of you. Through these interactions, I’ve developed a strong understanding of our club’s values and what makes this club so special. I’m excited to help preserve and build upon the culture that our current and past board members have worked so hard to establish.
Should I be chosen for this role, I intend to use the relationships I have made in the community to further our fundraising efforts. In order to assist the club's growth and success, I want to establish additional sponsorship and collaboration options by contacting local businesses, alumni, and other contacts. I have no doubt that these initiatives will assist us in raising the funds required to keep providing our members with worthwhile experiences.
Sincerely,
Zion
